The Kentucky Post NKU vetoes students' donation

The Kentucky Post: "NKU vetoes students' donation

Northern Kentucky University administrators have vetoed a student government decision to give $1,000 of university money to a pro-life group that urges pregnant women not to have abortions.
'Students made a decision with their heart in the right place, but may not have thought it through as much as needed,' said NKU President James Votruba.
The student senate voted 18-1 earlier this month to donate $1,000 of its university-provided $50,000 budget to New Hope Center to buy baby supplies for women taking parenting classes at the center. "
