WALTHAM -- Students learning how to run a philanthropy are making a final fund-raising push before a March 1 deadline to collect $7,000 to attend a conference in Long Beach, Calif.
Through a $15,000 grant from the Massachusetts Service Alliance, distributed by the Waltham Partnership for Youth, students in the Waltham Action Research Project have developed a request for proposals they plan to release today.
