t isn't every day that you get what you don't pay for. But that's about to happen for a nonprofit called Familystrength.

The Concord-based social service agency helps families in crisis by providing in-home counseling and other support services. It's facing a crisis of its own right now because Familystrength needs an executive director.

That need should be filled soon, thanks to executive search firm Snowden Associates. This is because Familystrength was chosen from among five contenders to receive a free executive director search, courtesy of Snowden.
