Childhood inspires Crystal Lake Salvation Army major's 'toy store' -- chicagotribune.com: "Now a corps commanding officer in Crystal Lake, Maj. Price and his volunteers this holiday season organized the Army's first toy store for needy families. An empty fabric store, located in a strip mall in Crystal Lake, was filled with hundreds of donated new toys, such as Polly Pockets, Barbie dolls, Little Pony figures and Hot Wheels. There were racks of winter coats and pants, and boxes of T-shirts, sweat shirts and household items."
