Whatever people say, good or bad about MJ the fact remains that he wanted to help people less fortunate than himself and he did. USA for Africa and many other charities were supported by him out of his love of giving and helping.

Anybody who can give away some of their fortune deserves respect as it is in many cases rare for rich people to do something like that.

It is estimated that he gave away over 300 million dollars to charity, and at his peak he was said to be worth slightly over 1 billion dollars. How many millionaires/ billionaires out there today would be willing to give away a third of their hard earned money?

It shows he really had a heart of gold!
