FriendFeed on Facebook

FriendFeed on Facebook: "Instead of helping teens plot out their future, Manly was intent on spending his retirement helping the elderly die with dignity. He signed up for hours of orientation to be a volunteer in the palliative care unit of Baycrest Centre for Geriatric Care.

'I find this work so gratifying,' says Manly, 65, who was deeply affected by his father's difficult death back in 1992. 'I like to think I'm helping a family, because there's nothing worse than watching a loved one in their final days.'"
