"Giving Tuesday' gets mixed results - Welcome to the W.C.H. Record-Herald - Washington Court House, OH: More than 2,500 organizations partnered this holiday season to encourage charitable giving on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, a new "Giving Tuesday" holiday to follow the enthusiastic consumerism of Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
Although some organizations reported boosts as large as 56 percent over the same Tuesday last year, several local charities did not see gains and some are seeking additional help from local donors.
