Challenge to benefit nonprofits | HeraldTribune.com: Area nonprofits will soon be seeking donations through computers and smartphones as part of the 36-hour Giving Challenge, which is in its second year.
Last year's event resulted in $2.4 million raised through 10,700 gifts to benefit the 109 participating nonprofits. The event includes 285 organizations this year.
