Fairfax public schools could get corporate donations through proposed nonprofit

Fairfax public schools could get corporate donations through proposed nonprofit: "The Fairfax County Chamber of Commerce unveiled plans Tuesday for a new nonprofit foundation that would allow companies to donate money to benefit the county's public schools. Stuart Mendelsohn, the chamber's outgoing chairman and a partner with the law firm Holland & Knight, said during the group's annual luncheon that a 'more formal announcement' about the foundation would come this summer and that the new nonprofit would fill a 'much-needed' void."
