End Of Summer Means Increases In Charitable Donations: "Our sudden temperature drop could be a good thing for local charities. During the hot summer months donations go way down. Now, many food banks are suffering, but today Catholic Charities jump starts the fall and winter giving seasons. It's handing out two truck loads of food collected this past weekend.
