I find that as I age, issues that once were so clear have become murky. Jewish philanthropy is one of those issues.

Much has been written lately on the decline of giving to Jewish causes by Jews of wealth. Studies have been done, papers commissioned, brows furrowed and breasts beaten. Committees have been struck, and even now blue ribbon commissions are being formed. "
