JERRY SPRINGER, or actually just the London opera based on his show, is so abhorrent to Christian critics that money generated from its sales was rejected by cancer patients. According to the BBC, the Conservative group Christian Voice persuaded Scottish cancer charity Maggie's Centers to turn down $5,700 as ``tainted'' money when the show attempted to donate a portion of their sales to the organization. ``We explained that they were in grave risk of alienating Christian donors . . . and cancer patients, by accepting money that had been raised from a performance of filth and blasphemy,'' Christian Voice National Director Stephen Green told BBC Radio. "
