After Alexander H. Snelius and his wife, Ursula, won $64 million in the Mega Millions lottery in 2000, they wanted to do something good with some of that windfall.

Ursula, a nearly lifelong White Sox fan, got the idea to donate $100 for every home run to the team's charity. It would give her a little something extra to cheer about during the game—not that she really needed a reason to be gung-ho over the Sox."
