The lagging economy is taking its toll on everyone, but nonprofit charitable organizations are getting hit particularly hard.
As donations decrease because of the economy, these organizations depend on volunteers to do more with less. Unfortunately, the federal government does not understand the value of these organizations, especially the volunteers."
