KCBD, NewsChannel 11 Lubbock |Hurricane Preparations Force Charity Events Out of Venues: "Both the Red Cross Champions Breakfast and the Make A Wish Foundation Fajita Fest were supposed to take place at those city venues this week. Even though Lubbock still isn't expecting any evacuees, one organization had to find a new venue and the other had to cancel its fundraising event all together. 'We just never would have believed that weather would cause an indoor event to be cancelled,' said Make-A-Wish Foundation Board Member Bill Sutter."
