The University of Southern California plans to hire scores of fund raisers in several cities as it pursues the biggest capital campaign in U.S. academic history, writes the Los Angeles Times.
As part of its effort to raise $6-billion by 2018, the school plans to double its fund-raising staff from 200 to 400 this year and has opened development offices in New York, San Francisco, and Washington and possibly in Chicago and Dallas.
