ST. JOHN'S, Nfld. (CP) - The Nature Conservancy of Canada has completed a $10-million campaign in the Atlantic region with the protection of three properties in Newfoundland and Labrador.

The group says it has been able to protect more than 5,260 hectares of ecologically significant land in partnership with Atlantic landowners during the campaign. The new protected properties in Newfoundland are located at Sandy Point and take in a total of four hectares."
