But Jacobson, development director of Mutual Ground, an Aurora shelter for victims of domestic and sexual abuse, said that finding enough people to invite to the next one could prove to be a little more difficult.
Last month, Mutual Ground recorded a take of more than $65,000 from its Little Bit O’Heaven gala fundraiser.
“It was our most successful event like it ever,” Jacobson said."
