Nonprofits seeking $1.5 billion - Minneapolis / St. Paul Business Journal:: "Minnesota nonprofits are seeking to raise $1.5 billion in capital and endowment campaigns in the coming years, according to a report the Minnesota Council on Foundations plans to release today.
The report, which surveyed 122 nonprofits, concluded 65 percent of donation dollars in the state goes to education. Just this year, the state's education campaigns have brought in $620 million. Human services came in second, with $113 million. Health was third with $91 million."
