The first foreign-born president of the Cupertino Rotary Club is determined to involve more first-generation immigrants in community service. 'There's a perception that first-generation immigrants are less outgoing, less active in the community,' says Steve Ting, president of the 162-member Rotary Club since July 1. 'I'd like to change that.'"
