ASPAN is partnering with with other Arlington nonprofits serving the homeless in Arlington to work to winning the prize AND sharing it. Doorways the Arlington Food Assistance Center, ,Arlingtonians Meeting Emergency Needs,, Arlington-Alexandria Coalition for the Homeless (AACH),Borromeo Housing Inc, and Offender Aid Restoration. They will share the prize.
Even if they don't win, all will be strengthened by the collaboration.
Even more good news: All of this brings more attention to nonprofits providing direct services to the the homeless that made the final cut.
