Naming rights, raising funds for Allegheny County parks may be at odds: "Efforts to sell naming rights and sponsorship notices in Allegheny County parks could hamper fundraising efforts by the county's newly created parks foundation, council members were advised.
County manager Jim Flynn told members of council's parks committee last week that the nonprofit parks foundation could find itself competing for same dollars with the proposed sponsorship program."
