Brooklyn Public Library launches fundraising drive: The Brooklyn Public Library has kicked off an aggressive fundraising drive to raise $500,000 for new books, DVDs and eBooks at its 60 sites.
The fourth annual spring “Support Our Shelves” initiative encourages residents to support their local libraries through donations and advocacy.
