Robert Rauschenberg's Captiva complex to house artists, authors | The News-Press | news-press.com: Created by the New York-based foundation, the new artists residency program will allow artists to live and work on the 26-acre property, painting or writing or sculpting as they share ideas and attempt to make artistic breakthroughs. Rauschenberg, himself, lived and worked there for four decades. The foundation now owns the property.
