One of the encouraging trends in our society today is that more and more people are considering charitable gifts in their financial and estate planning.
As we plan where our assets will go at our death, it makes sense that we provide for the very causes to which we have contributed during our lifetime.
Interestingly, however, although roughly 70 percent of Americans give to charities during their lifetime, less than 6 percent give to charities at their death."
