Baylor University || The Lariat Online: "Baylor reaches $1 billion endowment Aug. 20, 2007 By Star De La Cruz Staff Writer It had been projected that Baylor should have reached a $1 billion endowment, half of its $2 billion endowment goal, by the end of 2006, but it wasn't until this May that the goal was reached. Dr. Reagan Remsower, vice president for finance and administration, said the 2006-07 financial year ended May 31. Even though there's not a day to pinpoint when Baylor's endowment reached $1 billion, it was then when Baylor officially could say it had $1 billion endowed, he said."
