Execs find fulfillment in nonprofit leadership - Pasadena Star-News: "After working for over 25 years in the entertainment industry, Lisa Turchan decided to take the leap. She went from being a senior vice president of finance at Twentieth Century Fox to being the senior finance and administration person at a not-for-profit K-12th grade school.
'The nonprofit world allows me the opportunity to have a greater work-life balance without sacrificing the challenges,' Turchan said. 'I saw an opportunity to be able to make a contribution with my background to enable the school to meet its new challenges ahead.'"
