Survey: Donations to U.S. nonprofits down - Denver Business Journal:: "The economy is presenting significant challenges for America’s charities, with fewer than half raising more money in 2008 than in 2007, according to a aurveyt by the Association of Fundraising Professionals.
Overall, just 46 percent of organizations raised more money last year, a new low in the survey’s eight-year history. In a typical year, about 60 percent of respondents raised more money than in the previous year."
