Schools may rely more on nonprofits - Redlands Daily Facts: "REDLANDS - With the possibility of future cuts to the Redlands Unified School District budget, schools may look more to nonprofit organizations that supplement school programs for support.
'(Nonprofits are) very important, because we are able to help them fill the gaps,' said Lynn Whitmer, president Redlands Educational Partnership Foundation. 'We work hard to bring the visual and performing arts, and sciences, to our schools. These are the things they (may not) have if REP wasn't paying for them."
