Dar es Salaam, Jul. 15 (CNA/CWNews.com) - Laura Bush, the wife of US President George W. Bush, has pledged $500,000 to support a Catholic program in Tanzania that provides support to HIV/AIDS patients and their families.
Tanzania was the second stop in the American first lady’s 3-nation goodwill tour of eastern and southern Africa, which is focused on education, HIV/AIDS, and the advancement of women.
