The Herald Standard - Local News - 07/18/2005 - United Way to solicit face to face: "After seeing campaign contributions drop by $56,417 over the past two years, the United Way of South Fayette Inc. has decided to stop soliciting through the mail and return to face-to-face fundraising.
United Way of South Fayette Inc. has seen the amount of money it raises for 16 local agencies fall from $228,261 in 2002 to $161,233 in 2003, a drop of $67,028. There was a slight increase in 2004 as the campaign raised $171,844, but that was still $56,417 below the 2002 campaign and far under the campaign goal of $250,000."
