Event Creative Produces Charity Event on O'Hare Runway - MarketWatch: "he gala, hosted by Mayor and Mrs. Richard M. Daley, is to be held on Sept. 19 at O'Hare International Airport. It will also serve as the inaugural event to commemorate the O'Hare Modernization Project and the November 2008 opening of the airport's newest runway, Runway 9 Left/27 Right.
'We are honored to be leading the production of this distinguished Chicago event,' said Sean Cannon, a director at Event Creative. 'To my knowledge, an event like this has never before been held on a runway. We're proud that our experienced staff has the unique abilities to bring this gala together in six days; an event of this magnitude would typically take two weeks to organize.'"
