Summit gets charities, donors together | CourierPostOnline.com | Courier-Post: "Now a New Yorker, he was the keynote speaker Thursday at South Jersey's first philanthropy summit, sponsored by the Philadelphia Business Journal. More than 300 people representing companies that want to help the needy, and nonprofit organizations that need their money, in-kind services and volunteer labor attended the breakfast at The Merion on Route 130.
Hoping to foster those relationships and to pool small individual charitable gifts is the newly formed Community Foundation of South Jersey. Chaired by Jack Tarditi of Connor Strong and Mindy Holman, CEO and president of Holman Enterprises, the foundation hopes to raise $5 million within the next three to five years."
