Wall Street Woes Endanger Funding for the Arts - September 16, 2008 - The New York Sun: "The turmoil on Wall Street will affect a wide swath of New York City's cultural institutions, hurting corporate and individual donations at a time when these organizations are facing what one philanthropist called a 'perfect storm' of economic pressures.
'It's a very challenging time for not-for-profits,' the chief executive officer of CIT and a trustee of the Metropolitan Museum of Art and New York City Ballet, Jeffrey Peek, said. 'It's a little bit of a perfect storm.'"
