Porter died of a sudden illness in 2009 and had no surviving relatives.
A challenge of her Wills and Trusts soon followed in Broward civil court, involving former personal assistants, financial advisors, Citibank and some of its subsidiaries, and the Community Foundation of Broward, as plaintiffs.
