Judge Shutters Fundraising Firm Tied to Cancer Charity - Philanthropy Today - The Chronicle of Philanthropy- Connecting the nonprofit world with news, jobs, and ideas: New York State’s attorney general has obtained a court order shutting down a professional fundraising firm that kept 85 cents of every dollar it collected on behalf of a supposed breast-cancer charity, the New York Daily News and Binghamton television station WBNG report.
