Sept. 11 Museum to Charge Mandatory Admission Fee - Philanthropy Today - The Chronicle of Philanthropy- Connecting the nonprofit world with news, jobs, and ideas: The organization’s board voted last week to approve the mandatory admission fee, determining that “it’s more fiscally prudent to have a straight ticket charge” than an optional donation for visitors, said Joseph Daniels, president of the National September 11 Memorial & Museum.
