In a first, a major foundation is offering the public a direct role in deciding who should receive some of its money, a process typically shrouded in mystery.
“We’re looking for new ways forward, and this program is an example of that,” Jean Case said.
The Case Foundation, started by the founder of America Online, Steve Case, and his wife, Jean, is announcing the program today."
