Bloomberg’s Gifts to Charity Exceeded $165 Million in 2006 - New York Times
Bloomberg’s Gifts to Charity Exceeded $165 Million in 2006 - New York Times: "Also, the World Health Organization said yesterday that the mayor was giving $9 million to global traffic safety programs. That gift will go to design and put in place demonstration projects in Mexico and Vietnam to help decrease death, injury and disabilities resulting from crashes, which kill nearly 1.2 million people and injure as many as 50 million more each year, and which are the leading cause of death for 10- to 24-year-olds around the world, according to the group.
