Walter Gretzky, Wayne Gretzky's father, is in the capital region to take part in a two-day charitable event in support of the Canadian National Institute for the Blind.

A dinner and auction is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. tonight at the Fredericton Inn, with various Gretzky-related items and other prizes being sold to the highest bidder."
