Just dance: How nonprofits are raising funds :: The Courier News :: Lifestyles: "The dance competition is but one example of events local nonprofits put on in the hopes of grabbing attention and getting donations for their causes.
According to PADS Special Projects Coordinator Brittany Ann Mitchell, at three prior dance-offs 'the average amount earned by the dance competition has been between $8,000 and $10,000, which is raised by dancers through pledges or 'votes.' The event draws an average of between 250 and 275 attendees.'"
