To hear many people talk, you'd think there is nothing in life more aggravating than a ringing telephone with a telemarketer on the other end.
There's been widespread rejoicing that the federal government is considering a national 'don't call list' that would offer relief from these pesky telephone pitches.
I admit these unsolicited calls often seem intentionally timed to catch you in the shower, eating dinner or during other equally inopportune moments.
