On Sept. 11, the BellSouth Telecom Pioneers (BellSouth's employee volunteer program) will honor the spirit of 9/11 by giving back to people in need in the Memphis community.
In one day, approximately 60 BellSouth employees will donate their time and talents to construct five wheelchair ramps throughout South Memphis for low-income homeowners, providing accessibility to otherwise homebound individuals. The wheelchair ramp blitz is being organized through the Hands On Memphis CorporateWorks program, in partnership with the Metropolitan Inter-Faith Association's Handyman project"
