Kindhearted staff from a city business are urging the people of Coventry to forego Christmas cards and give the cash to worthy causes instead.
Staff at Coventry Building Society have supported the Myton Hospice Christmas Card Appeal for the past three years, raising �2,500 towards the �5 million target.
Chief executive Martin Ritchley said: 'We used to send and receive an enormous number of corporate Christmas cards and it really is an awful waste."
