A new fund-raising watchdog is to be given beefed-up powers to restore public confidence in giving to charity.
Ministers want to improve the role of the Charity Regulator so people know how much is both raised and spent by individual organisations.
It is hoped the new Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotland) Bill will boost public confidence in the sector. "
