Briefly: Ace heeds Spitzer on fees: "Ace, a Bermuda-based insurer, will stop paying brokers for steering business its way, becoming the third company to make concessions in the five days since Eliot Spitzer, the attorney general of New York State, unveiled a probe of the insurance industry.
Spitzer has not sued Ace, though a suit against Marsh & McLennan cites the company. (Bloomberg)
