A CHILDREN'S charity operator who ran bogus fund-raising raffles in a multi-million-dollar swindle was yesterday jailed for at least five years.
Jail term: Lawrence Shannon.
Kids At Sea director Lawrence Shannon, 50, was also ordered to pay more than $740,000 to the state as a pecuniary penalty for defrauding thousands of ticketholders in a six-year scam. "
